DNA is genetic code sequence structured by two twisted strands. It consists of the four genomic letters which are A-adenine, G-guanine, T-thymine, and C-cytosine. Those letters have their own pair, A-T and G-C. DNA has 5’ end and 3’ end, and it always reads from 5’ end to 3’end. In cell proteins and other DNA can be produced from DNA. Producing the proteins includes transcription and translation. Transcription is the process for building messenger RNA by RNA polymerase. After this process, translation occurs. During translation period, proteins are made from 3 types of RNA which are m, r, and t by ribosome. Above procedures are called as Central Dogma. If there are no suitable proteins for synthesizing at this moment, the organism could die. Also, DNA is copied when a cell is divided into new cells. In genomics field, people research genetic sequences of humans and animals. Studying the information gives predications about the function of that gene in humans and animals.
